In Nazi Germany, Adolph Hitler consolidated his power in a series of executions that party insiders called “Operation Hummingbird,” but is better known as “The Night of the Long Knives.” Your Night of the Long Knives is much more literal, as you are stabbed to death by lots and lots of ceremonial daggers.
